Sheppard LLC is the consulting practice of Joshua Sheppard.

I’ve spent twenty years in software engineering, most recently leading machine-learning teams as a Group Manager at C.H. Robinson, where I built and shipped production ML systems at scale. Before that, my work ran from infrastructure and platform engineering to engineering leadership across growing teams. I speak on Kubernetes and write regularly about engineering, AI, and the craft of building teams.

The thread through all of it: helping technical organizations make good decisions at the moments that matter — scaling a team, shipping AI into production, or stepping into leadership for the first time.
